Possibilities first session fee

The discounted cost of the initial session only is £50.

Fee for all subsequent 50 minute sessions?

At the end of the first session, if further meetings are agreed, a set fee for all future sessions is worked out with you.  This is based on a sliding scale from £60 to £110 related to your income and financial situation. The fee at Possibilities is fairly set to suit your financial situation.

Please keep in mind that Possibilities Psychotherapists are experts in their field, highly trained and very experienced. They are professionally registered clinicians with several years of formal post-graduate training in effective therapeutic approaches and have each successfully helped many thousands of people. Therefore, the level of expertise provided and experience needs to be taken fairly into account too when you are deciding on the fee.

Please also note that we are psychotherapists, not counsellors, trained to a much higher level; and provide a professional service. We do not use volunteer, non-qualified, non-registered counsellors.

Our clients regularly inform us that this is a much fairer way of determining the fee.

We do not want to turn people away for financial reasons; therefore, a limited number of appointments are available at concessionary rates.

Payment

Payment by cash or cheque are usually made at the end of each session. Unfortunately, we do not have facilities to process credit cards. Online payments can be made in advance by direct arrangement with the therapist you meet.

If paying is not a problem, do please consider making an additional donation to help those unable to manage the standard fee.

Possibilities Session Cancellation Policy

Sessions cancelled with less than 48-hours-notice are usually charged at the agreed session fee. Please note that the fee covers the therapist’s room booking, travel, insurance, registration costs and other financial outlays. No charge will be made for sessions cancelled with more than 48-hours-notice.
